How the Washington County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page is the Washington County inmate search tool. Available detainee information may include name, age, race, sex, prior bookings, intake date and time, and bond amount. Washington County's official detention records also include a Detention Intake Report for the last three days and a separate Detainee Charge List. The intake report includes booking and release timestamps for people discharged during a rolling 72-hour period.
Mugshots, booking numbers, arresting agencies, and specific charges may not appear on the alphabetical roster or intake report. The Washington County Detention Center does not certify the accuracy or authenticity of roster information. Before acting on bond, custody, or release information shown in the roster—or on charge and case details from related records—call the jail information line at (479) 444-5764.
The roster is an operational booking record, not a court docket or court-record search. Formal filings, motions, court settings, and case dispositions are maintained through Arkansas CourtConnect and SearchARCourts.
Posting Bail at Washington County Jail
Bail is set by the court, not by the Washington County Detention Center. Before going to the facility, call (479) 444-5700 to confirm the current bond amount, case number, custody status, release conditions, and accepted payment methods.
The detention center accepts bonds through licensed bail bondsmen. The Washington County Circuit Clerk maintains a bail bondsmen registration list. After a bond is posted, release typically takes 30 minutes to four hours, although actual timing varies with booking activity.
