How the Saline County Inmate Search Works
The live roster at the top of this page is the Saline County inmate search tool. It is synced directly from official booking data and includes “Current Inmates” and “48 Hour Release” or “Released Inmates” views. Release entries remain in the release view for 48 hours before being removed.
A roster entry may display a mugshot or an “Image Not Available” notice, the inmate’s name, booking number, age, arresting agency, booking date and time, release date and time when applicable, charges, bond amount, and bond type.
The roster is provided for public convenience, and its accuracy is not legally certified. Booking charges are preliminary, and charges or bond amounts may change after court proceedings. Call the jail at 660-886-5512 before acting on information involving charges, bond, case numbers, custody, or release.
The Saline County jail roster is an operational custody record, not a court docket. Missouri Case.net is a separate court-case information system that may display docket sheet entries, case status, eNotice history, scheduled events and orders, and party filings. Case.net is not an inmate search tool.
Posting Bond at Saline County Jail
The court determines the bond amount, bond type, and release conditions; detention center staff process an authorized bond but do not set its terms. Before traveling, call the Saline County Detention Center at 660-886-5512 to confirm the person’s full name, current custody status, charges, case numbers, exact bond amount, and accepted bond type.
Bond may be posted through detention center staff at the Saline County Sheriff’s Office front window, 1915 W. Arrow St., Marshall, MO 65340. Bond processing is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including after normal business hours.
For a cash bond, only cash in the exact full amount is accepted. Credit cards, debit cards, and checks are not accepted for cash bond payments. The person making the payment must present valid government-issued photo identification.
Surety bonds are accepted when the bondsman is approved by the Saline County Court. A court-approved bondsman list is posted at the Sheriff’s Office front window. Detention center staff cannot recommend a bonding agency or provide an agency’s telephone number.
Sending Money to an Inmate
Money may be deposited into an inmate’s account through Inmate Canteen or through the lobby kiosk at the Saline County Sheriff’s Office. The kiosk is located to the right of the entrance doors and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The lobby kiosk accepts cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Cash and money orders must not be mailed because they are not accepted by mail for inmate accounts.
Inmates with available account funds may purchase toiletries, clothing, snacks, and miscellaneous commissary items. Inmate account deposits are separate from bond payments.
