About the Callaway County Jail

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and Jail is a county jail and detention center in Fulton, Missouri. Sheriff Darryl Maylee leads the Sheriff’s Office, Captain Robbie Harrison serves as Jail Administrator, and Lieutenant Dakotah Erny serves as Assistant Jail Administrator.

The facility has an approximate capacity of 175 inmates. It houses pretrial detainees, felony suspects, and temporary detainees transferred from other agencies. Agencies confirmed as using the jail include the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Fulton, Holts Summit, and Auxvasse police departments.

How the Callaway County Inmate Search Works

The roster at the top of this page serves as the Callaway County inmate search tool. It includes Current Inmates and 48 Hour Release views using official booking data.

Summary records may display a mugshot, full name, booking number, booking date and time, charges, bond amount, and a profile link. An individual profile may also show age, gender, race, and arresting agency. Users can search by name, select Show All, apply Name, Date, Current, or Released filters, browse an alphabetical index, sort records chronologically, and move through multiple result pages.

The roster is an uncertified administrative custody record provided for convenience. Charge fields may include administrative “STAY REASON” entries such as “HOLD FOR DOC” or “NEED ARRAIGNED,” and bond information can change. Detention center staff should verify important bond, charge, warrant, custody, transfer, or release details before users act on roster information.

The jail roster is not a court docket. Missouri Case.net contains formal court-case information, including filings, scheduled events, orders, docket entries, and dispositions. Case.net is not an inmate roster or a replacement for the live Callaway County jail roster.

Posting Bond at Callaway County Jail

The court determines the bond amount, authorized bond type, and release conditions. Before traveling, contact detention center staff at 573-592-2458 to verify the person’s custody status, case number, current bond amount, and accepted bond type.

Depending on the court order, a bond may be cash-only, cash or surety, or a 10% cash bond. Jail-level cash bonds may be paid at the Callaway County Detention Center, 1201 State Road O, Fulton, MO 65251. Accepted payment methods are physical cash and certified bank check. Credit and debit cards are not accepted for jail-level cash bonds.

Some court-registry and case-related bond payments are handled by the Callaway County Circuit Clerk’s Office at the Callaway County Justice Center, 5 East 2nd Street, Fulton, MO 65251. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding state holidays. Verify the correct payment location before traveling to the jail or courthouse.

Surety bonds are accepted. Inmates may use collect calls during authorized telephone hours to contact a licensed bonding agent of their choice. Jail employees cannot recommend an agent, and agents handling charges within the 13th Judicial Circuit must be approved and listed by the Circuit Court.

For an on-view arrest, the jail may conduct a telephone hearing with a 13th Judicial Circuit judge to set bond. Routine bond calls generally are not made between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. unless the jail reaches maximum capacity.

Sending Money to an Inmate

Access Corrections is the deposit platform for inmate trust accounts. Deposits can also be made by telephone at 1-866-345-1884.

A Keefe Commissary Group kiosk is located in the Sheriff’s Office lobby at 1201 State Road O in Fulton. Keefe Commissary Group provides commissary service at the facility.

Access Securepak provides online inmate package ordering. Orders must be submitted by Thursday for qualifying delivery the following Thursday. Commissary and package orders require jail administration approval, and commissary privileges may be revoked because of behavioral issues.

Inmate trust-account deposits are separate from funds used for NCIC telephone and messaging services. They are also separate from bond payments.

Inmate Communication

NCIC Inmate Communications provides telephone service, remote video calls, and electronic messaging at the Callaway County Jail.

Inmates cannot receive incoming telephone calls. They may place collect or prepaid outgoing calls, and family members may create an NCIC account and add funds for approved communication services. NCIC Inmate Messaging is also available.

For an emergency family message, call the jail and ask to speak with the duty supervisor. The supervisor may require verification of the emergency before delivering the message.

Visitation at Callaway County Jail

Callaway County Jail offers free lobby kiosk visits and paid remote video visits through NCIC Inmate Communications. Lobby kiosk visits must be scheduled through NCIC at least 24 hours in advance.

Callaway County Court Information

Callaway County is part of Missouri’s 13th Judicial Circuit, which is shared by Boone and Callaway Counties.

The Associate Circuit Court handles misdemeanor cases, traffic violations, small claims, and preliminary hearings. Judge Christopher Wilson serves in Division VI, and Judge Sue Crane serves in Division VII.

The Circuit Court handles felony criminal cases, civil matters, family law, probate, and juvenile proceedings. Circuit-wide judges include Judge Josh Devine in Division IV and Judge Ben Miller in Division XIII.

Defendants held in custody may appear through the jail’s internal video courtroom. Defense counsel may enter the jail to appear with a defendant, and inmates are transported to the courthouse when ordered by a judge. Public viewing of jail video proceedings takes place at the courthouse.

Public calendar information may appear under Events or Scheduled Hearings & Trials within an individual case or may be obtained through the Circuit Clerk’s Office.

Electronic access is governed by Missouri Supreme Court Operating Rule 2. Juvenile, adoption, mental-health, and other sensitive records may be restricted from public access.
