How the Boone County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page is the Boone County inmate search tool. Available records may display a mugshot, full name, race, sex, age, city and state, arrest date and time, arresting agency, charges, and bond information when applicable. The release screen may also show a release date and time.
Users can choose Current Inmates or 48 Hour Release. The 48 Hour Release section displays people released from custody during the preceding 48 hours. Inmates can be selected through the alphabetical "Select Name" drop-down, but the roster does not support booking-number, arrest-date, or free-text searches.
Some inmates initially appear only by name and must be selected before the available profile information is displayed. Booking numbers are not shown as public roster fields.
The Boone County jail roster is not a court docket or court records search. It contains booking and custody information maintained through the Sheriff's records system, while Search ARCourts contains formal case information such as filings, dispositions, judgments, sentences, docket entries, and scheduled future events.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office and Detention Center do not certify the accuracy or authenticity of roster information. Confirm charges, bail, case numbers, custody status, and release information before relying on a roster entry.
