How the McClain County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page is the McClain County inmate search tool and is synced directly from official booking data. It provides a text search and a paginated list of people currently in custody.
The roster can show an inmate's full name, booking date and time, security classification, and booking number or jail ID. Selecting View Details opens a profile that can display the inmate's name, race, sex, and criminal charges. Public detail pages do not display mugshots, bond amounts, arresting agency information, or release dates.
A person's presence in the jail or on the roster does not establish guilt, and a booking or listed charge does not by itself establish a conviction.
The public portal does not provide a separate released-inmate, historical arrest, or recent-release search. It is limited to people currently in custody.
The jail roster and the Oklahoma State Courts Network, or OSCN, serve different purposes. The roster reflects custody and jail booking information, while OSCN provides court-case and docket information. OSCN is not an inmate roster, and its online information should be verified with the official record keeper before relying on it for a court-related action.
Posting Bond at McClain County Jail
The court determines the bond amount, bond type, and release conditions. Before attempting to post bond for someone held at the McClain County Detention Center, confirm the person's full name, current custody status, case number, bond amount, and accepted bond type.
Appearance bonds written by sureties licensed by the Oklahoma Insurance Department are accepted. A licensed agent's power of attorney must accompany the appearance bond filed with the court. Other release mechanisms include personal recognizance or a Promise to Appear and court-ordered supervised pretrial release.
OSCN case information can include the bond amount, bondsman, and power number. Because OSCN's online information is not the official court record, verify current bond information before acting on it.
