How the Major County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page is the Major County inmate search tool and is synced directly from official booking data. Users can search by inmate name, and listings may show a mugshot or image placeholder, full name, booking date and time, and listed charges.
Records are sorted by booking date by default, with pagination available for browsing additional current custody listings. An arrest, booking, listed charge, or mugshot does not establish guilt or a conviction.
Roster information may still be in the process of updating. Confirm time-sensitive bond, case-number, custody, transfer, or release information with the jail before acting on it.
The jail roster is separate from court records. The Oklahoma State Courts Network (OSCN) provides Major County court-case information, and On Demand Court Records (ODCR) is an additional court-record resource. Neither is an alternative to the live jail roster.
Posting Bond at Major County Jail
The court determines the bond amount, bond type, and release conditions for an individual case. Before attempting to post bond, confirm the person's full name, current custody status, case number, bond amount, and authorized bond type.
Surety bonds and official bail filings are processed and approved through the Major County District Court Clerk's Office at 500 E Broadway, Suite 5, Fairview, OK 73737. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Bondsmen must be licensed under Title 59 O.S. § 1301 et seq. and registered with the Court Clerk under 59 O.S. § 1320. Bond paperwork must be fully completed and notarized and must include the case number when charges have been filed. The Sheriff maintains an official directory of approved bondsmen.
Major County District Court also authorizes Personal Recognizance, or O.R./P.R., bonds. Release conditions may include compliance with court payment orders under Rule 8 and scheduled court appearances.
Call the jail at (580) 227-4471 to confirm accepted bond payment methods before coming to the facility.
Sending Money to an Inmate
Jail ATM is the online inmate deposit and commissary platform used for Major County Jail. Inmate account deposits are handled electronically through Jail ATM and are separate from City Tele Coin communication accounts and bond payments.
Inmates may spend up to $200 per week on commissary. Weekly orders must be placed by 9:00 AM each Thursday. Personal property cannot be brought into the jail from outside.
Medical charges include $93 for a physician visit, $5 to $10 for prescriptions, and $0.35 for over-the-counter medication. Nurse or assistant visits are free. Applicable fees are deducted from commissary funds or added to court costs for indigent inmates. Sentenced inmates housed for six months or longer pay $4 per month per medication.
Unused inmate trust funds are issued on a debit card upon release. Cash is not issued.
