How the Carter County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page serves as the Carter County inmate search for people currently in custody. It is synced directly from official booking data and supports name-based searching.
Available roster information includes the person’s full legal name, booking date and time, listed criminal charges, and current in-custody status.
The current inmate list is organized by booking date, and recent bookings are also available through the Bookings feed. The public inmate search is limited to people currently in custody; a separate historical release-search portal is not available.
A booking, arrest, hold, or listed charge does not establish guilt or a conviction. The jail roster reflects booking and custody information, not court case records. Carter County court cases are available separately through OnLine Court Records (ODCR).
Posting Bond at Carter County Jail
The court determines bond amounts, bond types, and release conditions. Before attempting to post bond, call Carter County Jail at (580) 223-6014 to confirm the person’s full name, current custody status, case number, bond amount, and accepted bond type.
ODCR case details may include bond endorsement amounts. Cash bond payments are processed through the Carter County District Court Clerk’s Office at 20 "B" St SW, Ardmore, OK 73401. The Court Clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For payments handled by the Court Clerk, accepted methods are cash, cashier’s check, and money order. Cashier’s checks and money orders must be payable to “The County Court Clerk.” Personal checks are not accepted.
Surety bonds are accepted from licensed bondsmen registered with the Carter County District Court Clerk. Bond documents must include a valid case number, and improperly completed or insufficiently notarized documents may be rejected by the Court Clerk.
