How the Pope County Inmate Search Works
The Pope County inmate search is the live jail roster displayed at the top of this page. Use the roster to review the booking and custody information currently displayed for people listed at the Pope County Detention Center.
A jail roster and a court record serve different purposes. The Pope County Sheriff's Office creates an administrative record during the arrest and booking process to document a person's custody status. A court file is created when a case is formally opened and may contain official charges, filed documents, future court dates, judgments, and court orders.
The roster on this page is not a court docket or a substitute for court records. Search ARCourts is the official Arkansas court-record system identified for participating courts in the state. It provides access to available case information maintained through the Arkansas court system.
Posting Bail at Pope County Jail
Bail is set by the court, not by the Pope County Detention Center. Before going to the facility, call the jail at (479) 968-5599 to confirm the current bail amount, case number, custody status, and accepted payment methods.
State-licensed surety bond companies are authorized to operate in Pope County. The Arkansas Professional Bail Bonds Licensing Board publishes the current list of companies authorized to provide surety bond services.
A judge may impose conditions on a defendant's pretrial release. These conditions may include an order of protection prepared by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and approved by the court or supervision by a probation officer. The court determines which conditions apply in an individual case.
