How the Marion County Inmate Search Works

The roster at the top of this page serves as the Marion County inmate search tool. It is synced directly from official booking data and lists current inmates alphabetically by inmate name.

Each entry displays the inmate’s name in Last Name, First Name Middle Name format and the incarceration date in MM/DD/YYYY format. The roster does not display mugshots, booking numbers, charges, bond amounts, release dates, arresting agencies, or demographic information.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office website does not provide a public released-inmate roster or recent-release view. Contact the Housing Unit at 573-629-0421 to confirm whether a person remains in custody.

The roster records physical confinement and is not a court docket. Missouri Case.net is a court-case information system, not an inmate roster.

Posting Bond at Marion County Jail

The court determines the bond amount, authorized bond type, and release conditions. Before submitting payment, call the Palmyra Office at 573-769-2077 to confirm the person’s full name, current custody status, inmate ID, case number, bond amount, and accepted bond type.

Bond payments can be processed through GovPayNet online or by telephone 24 hours a day.

To post an authorized bond:

1. Obtain the inmate’s full name and inmate ID from facility staff.
2. Access GovPayNet online or call 1-888-604-7888.
3. Provide the required inmate identifiers.
4. Pay with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, a debit card, or a prepaid debit card.

Confirm the bond type before paying. Money deposited into an inmate’s trust account does not satisfy a court-ordered bond.

Sending Money to an Inmate

Marion County Jail uses Access Secure Deposits through Access Corrections for inmate trust-fund deposits. Deposits can be submitted through the Access Corrections website, by calling 866-345-1884, or through the deposit kiosk in the jail lobby at 1703 Marion City Road in Palmyra.

Online and telephone transactions are typically approved and made available to the inmate within 24 hours. Transaction fees apply to lobby-kiosk deposits based on the total deposit amount.

The sender’s name and inmate’s name must be clearly legible. The inmate receives a written receipt after the money order is processed.

Do not include letters, notes, or other items in an envelope containing a money order. If additional items are enclosed, the jail returns the envelope’s entire contents to the sender.

Trust-fund deposits are separate from ICSolutions phone funding, CorrectPay messaging charges, and GovPayNet bond payments. Call 573-629-0433 with questions about inmate funds or commissary.

Inmate Communication

Marion County Jail uses ICSolutions for inmate telephone service and video calls. Inmates cannot receive incoming telephone calls. To establish or fund an ICSolutions account, call 888-506-8407 or use the provider’s website.

Voicemail messages can be left at 573-719-1071. An active ICSolutions account is required to use the voicemail service.

Electronic messages can be sent through CorrectPay. Sending an email to an inmate is free, but the inmate pays $0.50 for each reply.

Visitation at Marion County Jail

Marion County Jail offers lobby-kiosk and remote video visitation through ICSolutions and ICS Video Visit. Every visit must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and no more than one week before the requested session.

Each session lasts 20 minutes and may include up to four visitors. The limits are one visit per day, three lobby-kiosk visits per week, and three remote visits per week.

Visitor rules include:

• Wear appropriate clothing and behave respectfully.
• Maintain at least $10 in an ICSolutions prepaid account for remote video visitation.
• Do not bring bags, coats, hats, jackets, cell phones, cameras, weapons, food, or beverages into the visitation area.

Marion County Court Information

Marion County criminal cases are handled by the Circuit Court in Missouri’s 10th Judicial Circuit. The circuit includes Marion, Monroe, and Ralls counties and has Circuit and Associate Circuit divisions.

Available information may include case status, scheduled hearings and events, party listings, formal charges, bond orders, financial history, fines and costs, and docket entries. Public court calendars and scheduled-hearing information are also available through the system.

Public electronic access is restricted for confidential, sealed, juvenile, expunged, closed, and otherwise protected records. Case.net provides court information and does not identify who is physically confined at Marion County Jail.
