How the Jackson County Inmate Search Works
The roster at the top of this page serves as the Jackson County inmate search and is synced directly from the official county custody database. It may display selected inmate population information and inmate photographs.
Roster information can change rapidly and may not reflect a person's current or complete status. Roster data and photographs are not official arrest records, and people charged with offenses are presumed innocent unless convicted. Confirm custody, transfer, bond, or release information with the detention center before taking action.
People held at the Regional Correctional Center for Kansas City municipal ordinance violations are excluded from this roster. The Jackson County Detention Center does not perform booking functions or maintain official arrest or law-enforcement booking records. The custody database generally does not publish a booking number or booking date, so those fields are left blank rather than inferred. Requests for booking records must be directed to the arresting law-enforcement agency.
The jail roster is not a court docket. Missouri Case.net is a separate Missouri court-record system.
